Statement :

Understanding Gentrification is a public education project based in South London that aims to mitigate the negative impact of gentrification on minority-run shops and food vendors. The project takes the stance that gentrification is an unstoppable force, and seeks to equip these businesses, which have been in operation for 10 years or more, with the tools needed to compete with their newer counterparts. Through this project, we hope to provide a platform for public education and address the stigmas surrounding gentrification.
